EcoVadis “Scorecard” Bronze: Freudenberg Sealing Technologies Jumps Four Points To 66

In the EcoVadis ranking, Freudenberg Sealing Technologies has increased its ESG rating to 66 points. EcoVadis uses 21 criteria to evaluate companies worldwide in four areas: environment, labor and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement. As part of this sustainability assessment process, EcoVadis awards a scorecard that is based exclusively on the company's ESG performance rating.

The EcoVadis Bronze scorecard and the improved rating underscore the company’s progress and provide further incentive for continuous improvement. “Almost three-quarters of the companies that applied for a rating scored lower than we did,” says Jens Trabert, Global Director of Sustainability at Freudenberg Sealing Technologies, assessing the ranking. “This is a success, but not an end point. We want to keep improving. To do so, we are coordinating new goals with the Management Board and implementing them together with the organization.”

EcoVadis makes it easier for companies to work with international customers and opens up new business opportunities – a key factor in markets that are increasingly focused on sustainability. The EcoVadis ranking is used by over 130,000 companies to ensure transparency in global supply chains and is increasingly requested by customers.
